Overview of Ibrandronic Acid Tablet:

Ibandronic acid attaches with and stays in your bones all over the month. It is clinically proven to not only sustain bone density, but in reality works with your body to facilitate reversal of the bone loss. Dosage of Ibrandronic Acid:

Ibandronic Acid 150 mg tablets are to be consumed via oral route one time in a month. You can select one date of the month (your Ibandronic Acid day) that you will bear in mind and that best fits your timetable to consume your tablet. It is recommended to take Ibandronic Acid initially in the morning. You are required to wait at least one hour prior to having a meal or drinking anything except plain water.

It is advised to take the whole tablet of Ibandronic Acid (do not crush or chew) with one glass of plain water. Do not take Ibandronic Acid with milk, juice, coffee, or tea.

Contraindications of Ibrandronic Acid Tablet:

There are certain conditions in which the use of Ibrandronic acid tablet is strictly illicited:

  • If you have kidney problems or low level of calcium in blood.
  • If you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
  • If you have a problem in gastrointestinal and anaphylactic reaction.
  • You are unable to stand for a minimum of 60 minutes.

Drug Interactions of Ibrandronic Acid Tablet:

Some medicines which modify the activity of this medication when these are given in combination, these medicines include:

  • Vitamins and medications containing bi-phosphates.
  • Medicines consisting of aluminium, magnesium, iron.
  • NSAIDs such as Ibuprofen, Naproxen.

Side effects:

Some side effects of Ibrandronic acid are back discomfort, cough, cloudy urine, nervousness, irregular heartbeat blockage, breathing problem, skin rash, nausea, vomiting, dehydration, and increased fever. 

Storage of Ibrandronic:

Ibandronic Acid tablets must be stored at room temperature in a cool and dry place.

Precaution of Ibrandronic Acid Tablet:

  • Do not take any other oral medication, including vitamins, calcium, or antacids, for a minimum time period of one hour after taking Ibandronic Acid.
  • Do not lie down for at least one hour after taking this medication to help reduce the risk of problems in the stomach and esophagus
